Does what it states!
Absolutely excellent product and this is my second purchase. The only filter I have tested that will remove very very fine silt, less that .05 microns, with a spring water source. The first unit lasted over 5 years with routine cleaning. A prefilter is definitely suggested to reduce larger particles (silt). Read more
Great whole house water filter
