I can’t say enough about this beast of an RC car. I’ve had sooooo much fun over the past few weeks taking it with me everywhere I go like it’s a dog or something lol. Comes in a big beefy box and the only thing you have to do is assemble the spoiler. Once you get your batteries in the controller and turn on the car, you’re gonna be in for a wild ride! I’ll say this… if you have never used an RC car before, BE CAUTIOUS. It is very fast and you will lose control of the car trying to go for max speed. Trust me… I know first hand and it was a reminder that even though this is considered a toy, it’s much more than that. With that being said, it is easy to handle, weighs about 5 pounds, it can fit in a plastic bag you would get from Walmart, and it's very addicting to use. The suspension is real and you can build/replace the whole car with the instructions they provide. They give you stickers/decals to add to the car, and an extra battery because unfortunately it does drain fairly quick. I’d say a solid hour or so and you’ll have to switch the battery for the other one. The charge time for the battery is a little longer than I expected. If I get an hour's use from the one battery, it takes about 3-4 hours to fully charge up again. Not sure if that’s normal or not, but real racers know better I’m sure. It’s a high ticket item and if you’re already in the RC space, you’ll have more than enough batteries to prep and plan ahead, but if you're new to this, know you will need at least 5 or so batteries if you plan on using it often (which you will. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.). Worth every single penny! Read more

First of all, I have to say this thing is AWESOME! It is extremely fast and definitely checks the box for fun! The one thing that would be a negative (but not enough to subtract a star for me), is that it can be pretty easy to roll. And depending on how fast you are going, the roll can be a lot of rolls lol The size is a pretty true 1/12 size RC car and the tires are decent for rally type racing. I tried it on pavement, grass and gravel (baseball field) and it did best on the baseball field. I rolled it on both pavement and grass decently easy due to it being a little more high centered. With that said, the ability for it to take a beating is pretty good. I definitely have some scrapes on the shell, but the insides are nicely though-out and tightened down securely. The battery life is better than I thought it would be - about 20-30 minutes on one battery, but with that said, they include 2 in the package! Which is awesome! Value for the money, you are getting a lot of car and a lot of fun with this kit. I highly recommend it! Read more

This RC is fast and performs well on a track or any terrain you put it in. The pick-up is impressive with a good response time between remote and truck allowing you a more controlled run. The motor doesn't run overly heat up or lag. The chassis, stance and balance of the RC is awesome no matter how hard I tried to flip it over it more often than not landed back upright which saves you time during a race sense you don't have to wait for helpers to flip your RC back over which can cost you laps. I'm very pleased with the whole setup of this HOSHIPLAY 1:12 RC Truck. Only issue I found was with the rims it comes with. The rims were not strong enough to support the jumps (10 Feet high by 11 feet wide a couple of times). After a few jumps I had the rear rims crack and wobble. Comes with everything shown and is ready to go right out of the box. Charge times vary on your setup on mine it takes an hour and a half. Takes two hours with the included charger (depending on how dead the battery is). The run time is a good 35-40 min (per battery)of hard running. I feel its a 5 star RC but given rims breaking had to knock a star off. I did find a set of rims that fit well. I did have to try a few sets before I found once I liked and complemented the RC performance. The black and orange on the first images are the two I went with. They are available on Amazon just double check your height and clearance (off set) some look like they fit but rub on the shocks or arms. RC is sturdy and well built. The remote is pistol style and is user friendly with steering and throttle adjustment to your style of driving. Read more

This is a hobby grade RC truck, it is very fast. If you just full throttle it, the truck will do flips. You will have to ease the speed up so it doesn't do this. The truck came packaged with plastic cling wrap protecting the top and a plastic film on the metal bottom. There is also a plastic film that tightly wraps the body, I noticed it when putting on the windshield stickers. I took that off but the way it was on and underneath the removable body parts makes me think I wasn't supposed to do that. I do this this is overpriced because I have a drift car from another brand that has full working headlights, tailights and turn signal lights. It also has a ESC fan. This only has front headlight bar and it could be brighter. For this price of $300, it should have a ESC fan, taillights, brigher headlights, a gyro, and a higher end controller. The controller is a flysky-g4p, no complaints but it could be a higher end one, it requires 4 AA batteries. It's got the traditional latches, I prefer the newer quick release latches. If it had most of those features I would rate it higher, right now I find it overpriced. I do like it comes with 2 3S batteries and a fast PD usb c charger (fast charging requires a 40W+ usb-c charger from a laptop or phone). Pros: 2x 3S batteries included USB C Fast Charger that can charge 2S and 3S batteries Super fast speeds Easy to turn on and off without taking off battery great turn radius Fun, power and durable Cons: No ESC fan - this is a big miss, prone to overheating. No tailights - makes seeing the truck at night much harder. No Gyro - helps keep the vehicle straight at fast speeds Traditional latches instead of newer quick release pins Read more
