The RC car comes with 2 batteries and a fairly standard controller. It seems to work pretty well, but it has drift. My variant drives slightly to the right when I'm not trying to turn the vehicle. Not the end of the world but it needs to be better aligned in my thoughts. Read more

Unboxing and Quality Upon unboxing, the truck makes a good first impression. It is well-packaged and does not feel "cheap" or flimsy in hand. A significant benefit is that this is a true "Ready-to-Run" kit; it includes the truck, the remote, and all necessary batteries to get started immediately. The included instructions were also clear and easy to follow. Performance and Battery Life In use, the truck performs well for its size. It handles off-road terrain decent enough for a toy-grade vehicle. I was particularly pleased with the battery life; the two rechargeable car batteries lasted longer than I expected, allowing for extended play sessions without constant recharging. Steering Limitation The main drawback potential buyers should be aware of is the steering. It is not proportional. This means you cannot make slight adjustments to your path; turning the controller wheel sends the tires to a full lock left or full lock right. While this is standard for many toys in this price range, it does make precision driving difficult compared to hobby-grade RCs. Pros: Aesthetics are good; it looks rugged and cool. Complete kit: Comes with everything needed to start playing immediately. Includes necessary batteries for both the car and remote. Battery runtime is better than average. Cons: Non-proportional steering (all-or-nothing turning) limits control. Overall This is a solid choice for a young child looking for their first off-road RC truck. While the steering lacks the nuance of more expensive models, the build quality and battery life make it a good value for the price. Read more

This RC truck turned out to be way better than I expected. It’s a big 1:12 scale and feels really solid right away—the alloy shell isn’t just for show. It’s taken a bunch of flips and crashes already, and everything inside is still perfectly protected. Nothing rattles, nothing breaks, it just keeps going. The two rechargeable 500mAh batteries are a nice bonus. Each one lasts a decent amount of time, and together you get around 40 minutes of play before needing to recharge. The built-in safety features during charging are also reassuring, especially for kids. The 2.4GHz controller works great. The response is quick and smooth, and there’s no interference even when other RC cars are running nearby. The range is surprisingly good, so you can really let it roam without the signal dropping. What impressed me most was how well it handles different terrain. Grass, sand, gravel, small rocks—it powers over everything without getting stuck. The tires have great grip, the motor has good torque, and the suspension does a nice job keeping it steady on bumpy ground. This would make a great gift for the upcoming holidays. Lots of fun to be had with this one! Read more

This is a very fun RC car. It's a rock crawler so it's not the fastest but it can do some decent climbing. The listing states it has a sturdy alloy shell which I assumed ment the entire outer structure, but it is only the flat body panels with the graphics and the springs that are metal. The roll bars and all that is plastic. It is 4 wheel drive with 1 motor driving the front and 1 for the back. The steering seems to be using something other than a typical servo motor. When you turn the wheel and hold it you can hear a motor turning constantly instead of stopping at full lock. The graphics are pretty cool. I wish I would have got the 80s styling one with the teal and pink that's on the box. I think that one looks better. For the price this is a fun car for kids and adults a like. It comes with 2 batteries for longer play time and a tiny screwdriver to open the battery door. Just don't expect it to be the fastest. Read more

This 1:12 scale monster truck is definitely a solid choice for younger enthusiasts, delivering on the promise of off-road fun right out of the box, as mine was ready to go without any initial charging thanks to the two included battery packs which is a huge win for instant gratification. It handles diverse terrain well; the 4x4 climbing power is surprisingly effective, easily tracking through grass and dirt, and it had no problem scaling a roughly three-inch edge onto my patio, with the functional suspension being quite responsive. The build feels sturdy where it counts, with an alloy shell on top, though the underbody frame is plastic, which makes me wonder about its long-term durability against repeated, hard impacts, despite the alloy top offering some protection. While the simple controller is easy for smaller hands to operate and maintained a reliable connection with immediate response for acceleration and steering, the truck moves at a somewhat slow, albeit variable, speed compared to the advertised 12 MPH, and the turning radius is noticeably wide, which takes a little getting used to for more precise maneuvering. Overall, it's a well-built toy that provides engaging playtime and would make a fantastic gift for the suggested 8-12 age range, provided you're looking for a capable climber and basher rather than a high-speed racer.
