Fun car for loose surfaces like gravel or dirt

This car arrived in nice packaging and required a small amount of assembly. The bull bar and wing had to be fastened. They were obviously not fixed to make the packaging smaller. The car itself really looks nice. The finish and detail is very satisfying. There are two USB charged batteries with cable. Battery life is good for such a small package. The controller was frankly disappointing. It's very cheap feeling and looking. it uses 2 AA batteries which are not included. The side wheel control clicks and creaks badly. I honestly thought it wouldn't work. It did though. This car lacks the weight and ground clearance for use even in short grass. It runs well on concrete or asphalt with the exception that the positive friction makes the rubber tires separate from the wheel hubs easily. The car is fast and fun. The turning circle on hard surfaces is wide and breaking traction is a must to turn in smaller arcs. Dirt and gravel are the most satisfying place to run this car. It runs best, turns best and is most exciting in loose dirt. It kicks up rooster tails and spits gravel nicely. Despite the cheapness of the controller, it does the job. It can jump and flip, the balance is good. The car is durable and keeps going after hard crashes. It's really fun on the right surface. Read more
