Definitely a fun one and built pretty sturdy, we took it to our local RC track and it was rolled quite a few times and kept going with a little body cracks which brings me to me next point. This has a lot of heavy duty metal components, even the shell is a thin metal, which when researching others around this price range the shocks connected to a plastic component that was a weak point that broke, this is heavy duty metal so less likely to break. Overall built quilty is great only taken it out once so we will see long term. It's also very fast, stupid fast, which can be hard to control but still fun. So now the negatives or slight annoyances. The remote has a battery life indicator that is supposed to tell you how much battery life you RC has and this hasn't worked from the start, the car died in us so I went to charge it which comes my biggest gripe, you are told not to over charge and leave on the charge indefinitely but the charger lights don't indicate when the battery is charged all the way so it's hard to know when your battery is charged, same goes for the controller. Overall this good buy for the money if the battery issues were fixed I would say it's the best deal on the Internet for an RC car. Update 1/17/26 So my son was play with this with a friend that's dad is an RC enthusiast driving one of his RC cars. They thought they were hot wheels and crash then together at a high speed and bent some rods, broke the housing connection for the shocks and tie rod. I used the packet that came with the car to identify the parts I needed and emailed them about getting parts. Not only did they ship them out to me at NO COST they gave us upgraded mental parts to replace the plastic ones. I'm fully behind this company. Definitely one of the best buys for your money! I cannot sing the praises of this thing enough. It was a gift for my daughter for Christmas and it has been a great item for her to bash around with. She is a total beginner, but the throttle control, durability, and handling ability of this monster truck are perfect for her. It is also a fun one to drive for someone with more experience as well. The only things that keep it from a 5 star review are that the charging instructions flat out suck as does the time to full charge. It is about 4 hours to full charge with the USB charger it comes with. I only know it because the flashing green light turns solid for a bit, then both lights go off. The other issue is that remote doesn't display remaining truck battery voltage as the manual states, so that's an issue. Those two things aside, this thing flat flies at full throttle and can take a beating. Read more
