The media could not be loaded. Really fun RC car, especially for the price. You’re definitely getting a lot. The only problem my head is that it’s very fragile. I broken one of the pullers already. Super fast very fun for the kids and adults. I ran it for about an hour and 15 minutes on both batteries life. ran it through some serious testing as you can see on the video handles a lot better on dirt and cement and asphalt grass. He just tends to skip across the surface. The controls are very intuitive. Simple to use. Read more

I bought this RC car for my best friend for Christmas. This car is fast and durable. The remote is easy to use and the response is great. The extra battery is a plus and I am extremely happy with this purchase. My friend loved it. Highly recommended. Read more

I was very impressed with this kit. You get a controller, 2 battery packs, spare parts including a second body, and basic instructions. It is a very complete kit. Battery life really depends on the speed settings. If you max it out, the battery life is significantly reduced. On the slowest setting, you can basically use it on paved surfaces. This is a fun adult toy. It is not intended or designed for kids to use unsupervised. We drove it through the backyard on various speeds. It survived crashing into the pool, getting stuck in tall weeds, and my blue heeler (who chased it down, grabbed it and ran off with it). It is not a safe toy for dogs, that incident was unexpected. This would be a blast on a dirt track. It is really fun driving it through the backyard. The controller works well and has a good range. The battery packs have commonly available batteries if they require replacement. I really like that there is a second, complete body included. The thin plastic bodies are designed to break, this is so that the expensive parts are protected. Just like crumple zones in your car. This is a great deal for the money. Any RC car enthusiast will love it. My college age boys and husband think it is a hoot. Lots of family fun with this. Read more

I was excited to get this car out and spend the afternoon with my boys (11 and 14) racing around the neighborhood park with our RC car collection. This buggy is light and quick. The motor is powerful allowing the car to perform well on blacktops and hard packed surfaces. The remote has a 3-speed selector (L/M/H) switch on the side and a speed controller dial on top both of which I found to be much needed features. At high speeds in the grassy field where we mainly use our RC cars this car feels more like it wants to bounce across the surface. I think this is due to how light it is over all and the choice of tires that it comes with. Setting the car into the medium speed setting and lowering the dial to about 75% keeps the car from wanting to skip across the top of the grass and helps make it easier to control over all. On the street or hard packed dirt the car was more planted and wanted to go where ever I pointed it. During high-speed runs on the street next to the park, I noticed that the stock tires would balloon a little more than I would hope for at maxed out speeds. They did not pop but I did notice that less of the tread patch was making contact with the street. This was happening more so on this car than the other cars of similar size in my collection. The included batteries provide between 15-30 minutes of run time depending on how hard I was pushing it. The car was able to easily chase around the park with the kids using other RC’s without any battery run time issues. After running a few batteries through it I changed the wheels to some other ones that I had and found the tread pattern of them was more suited for playing in the grass. In the photo the stock tires are on top and the ones that I changed to are the below. The car handled better on the other tires and was snappier in turning and accelerating. The included battery charger does work but I would suggest getting a dedicated battery charger. Dedicated chargers can help to extend battery life and give you more insight into the overall health of your batteries. The over all build quality I would consider to be exactly what should be expected in this price range. It is mainly plastic with some metal parts strengthening key locations on the chassis. Most of the screws are self tapping into plastic. A few are machine screws into metal nuts. There is a top metal stiffener that goes from the back to the front of the chases helping to reduce flex. The driver shaft is exposed and there are wires that are pretty close to it. They are zipped tied to the side but I’ll be keeping my eye on them when ever I have to shell off. I took the car apart to examine the build and it looks like you could adapt the chassis to use upgraded swing arms, drive shafts (main and to each wheel) , shocks, etc. I think that the potential for future upgrades makes this car an excellent choice for someone not sure if they want to get into the RC hobby but still doesn't want a "toy grade rc" or as a gift for a 12-15 year old. You can have a lot of fun with it as is and if you find that you want more out of it later on you can change out some of the plastic parts for more hobby-grade components expanding its life and having fun along the way.
