This RC monster truck is way cooler than I expected for the size. The 1:28 scale makes it easy to use indoors or outside, and the build feels solid right out of the box. The FPV camera is the highlight. Being able to see live video on your phone adds a whole new level of fun, especially when driving over bumps or small jumps. The image quality is clear enough to enjoy, and switching between driving and recording is simple. It handles different surfaces really well. I tried it on pavement, gravel, and short grass, and it kept going without trouble. The controls are responsive, and having both a remote and app control is a nice bonus. The two batteries are also a big plus since you can keep playing longer. The LED lights and color-changing body look great, especially at night. This little RC truck has been a bit of a mixed experience for us both indoors and outdoors, and right off the bat, the iridescent gradient shell is actually pretty fantastic. It looks really cool when it's zooming around the living room, and the dynamic LED lights at the base are a nice touch for some nighttime driving. Speaking of performance, it handles basic driving reasonably well for its size, and having the two batteries included is a huge plus for extending the playtime while one is charging, making it a very appealing option if you just want a simple toy to drive around. However, the main reason I even looked at this truck was the FPV camera, and to be honest, it’s been a massive disappointment. The camera app is incredibly poor and I’ve had a nightmare trying to get it to actually connect to my phone. I followed the QR code, which initially took me to some unrelated site, and even after getting the right app, it just won’t sync with the truck. It’s incredibly frustrating because the live HD video was the highlight of the product description, but since it doesn't work, it feels like a total letdown for what was supposed to be a high-tech experience. My one little thing, however... or rather, a few things... is that the usability of this truck is pretty rough. The instructions are poorly written and very hard to read, making the initial setup a chore. Also, while it’s marketed as a 4-wheel drive monster truck, it’s actually just 2-wheel drive, which feels a bit misleading when you're trying to tackle tougher terrain outdoors. The battery connector is also extremely hard to disconnect, almost to the point where I’m worried I’ll snap the wires every time I swap them out, and the battery cover on the remote is a struggle to get off without a lot of prying. All in all, my overall impression of this truck is just meh. While it looks great and the basic driving is decent enough for kids, the failure of the camera system and the misleading 4WD claim really kill the excitement. Because the main feature is essentially non-functional due to the terrible app and poor instructions, I definitely feel like the value is a "no" for me. It’s a solid-looking toy for basic play, but if you’re actually looking for that first-person driving experience, this isn't a very appealing option, and I really can't recommend it over more reliable models. I got this for my sister's two sons and they have been having a blast with it. The best part is definitely the camera. They think it is so cool to see the live video on a phone while they are driving it around the house and the yard. It is kinda small, but it is pretty tough and handles different surfaces well without getting stuck. It was a nice surprise that it came with two batteries. Having a spare is great because one can be charging while they are playing with the other, so the fun does not have to stop. I bought this Plovokitoy remote control car or monster truck (it's called both in the description) for my grandsons to play with when they visit. The box included a 1/28 scale car, a remote control, two rechargeable batteries, a charging cable, and instructions. It did not include a small screwdriver or the three AAA batteries needed for the remote. The car itself is easy to use. It goes forward, backward, and turns left or right. When you let go of the steering, it goes straight again. Both the car and the remote have on/off switches, and there are colorful LED lights on the bottom of the car. So the truck controls work well and are simple enough for a young child. However, I had several problems. The battery cover on the remote is very hard to remove. The instructions are poorly written and hard to read. The truck requires downloading an app to use the camera, but this was very frustrating. The QR code first took me to a site to install an unrelated app. On my second try, it went to the correct app. The app did install on my iPhone, but I could never get it to connect to the truck, even after many attempts. The instructions for connecting the app were not helpful. The product description says the truck is 4-wheel drive, but it is actually only 2-wheel drive. Also, the battery connector is extremely hard to disconnect and I don't think a child could do it without help. Overall, the truck works fine for very basic play, and my young grandson will enjoy driving it around. However, because of the poor instructions, app problems, and misleading description, I would not recommend this RC truck. Read more
