Ohh, my god, I love it.I use it on missions whenever I lose something under my bed.I send the car in.We're at one hundred percent success. I highly recommend it.It's so cool. I'm lazy so sometimes i use it to see who is in the kitchen. The lights on it are amazing. And the movies it creates are pretty clear too. Highly recommend. Read more

This crawler model is a 1/64 scale and uses an internal battery. There is no proportional steering, so it is better for indoor adventures. The included camera actually takes ok still pictures and the video is better than other similar ones. The problem is that there is a lot of lag, and navigating further away gets worse exponentially. You can get used to it a bit, but it will prevent you from having a more immersive experience. That said, it's still a fun little truck to navigate homemade courses or layouts in your living room. This is a product I really wanted. The concept is great: a small remote-controlled vehicle with a mounted camera. What fun! If properly executed, this could have been the adult toy of the year! Unfortunately, this is not that. My impressions: - Let's start with the build quality: not great. The tolerances are so tight that it takes brute force to remove the battery cover on the remote. The small set screw extracts only to a point, then it falls back down. I had to physically pull the screw up and twist it until it caught in the second section before I could remove it. On the plus side, a screw driver is included... Also, the carrier for the cell phone that attaches to the remote is so tight that I broke off the release tab when I tried to remove it. Again, tight tolerances and poor build quality. - For usage, an app has to be downloaded to use the camera (note that the app is not required if you are not using the camera; the car can be controlled by the remote only). The app has one big advantage over many others of this type: no registration is required! Once the app is downloaded, it can be used directly to view the camera stream. Usually... - In order to use the app, the wifi on your phone has to be switched to use the car as its source. That's fine, except that the wifi regularly disconnected and switched back to my router as the source. There didn't seem to be a pattern to this: the car could be close or far, moving or stationary, and it would just randomly disconnect. The only thing affected was the camera; the remote still controlled the car motion. However, it was distracting when the video image froze. - When the car was moving, setting it to go in a straight line resulted in the car drifting to the right. I had to constantly steer it back to the straight direction I wanted the car to move in. Again, this speaks to the quality of the product. - The camera mounts with a slight downward tilt. It's not adjustable, so I got lots of video of the carpet streaming by, but not enough of obstacles ahead. - The speed of the car is okay. It's not a speed demon, but it doesn't claim to be. It drives fast enough so that it's not annoying. The car looks nice and, if it worked, would be a good value. Unfortunately, there are so many flaws in this product that I can't recommend it for anyone, except maybe someone you don't like. That's too bad: I really wanted this product to work! Read more

This little RC truck was a ton of fun. It comes nicely packaged with the remote, camera, and truck all separate, and the truck itself feels well‑constructed, like you could drop it without immediately worrying about it breaking. The camera attaches via magnets, so it easily detaches instead of snapping off if the truck takes a tumble. It’s easy to control and has two speed settings, which is great if you’ve got a younger child who needs a slower mode to learn on. It’s advertised as an RC drift car, which doesn’t really fit since it’s a truck and doesn’t actually drift. The camera quality is decent for a toy in this price range. My biggest complaint is getting the app installed and the camera connected—it’s not very intuitive, and I had to retry a few times before it finally linked up. Once it was connected, though, it was really fun to drive around the house using the camera from the truck’s point of view. Because it’s super small, you can drive it through tight spaces like under the couch, and the built‑in lights make it possible to drive in the dark. At around $40, it’s not a bad price for what you get and feels like a pretty solid toy overall. I think it would be great for an eight‑ to twelve‑year‑old. In terms of 4x4 capability, it does get stuck on relatively small objects, so don’t expect it to handle heavy terrain. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and it would likely make a great gift. The media could not be loaded. Super cute Super fun tiny rc truck! This car looks cool with its glowing led lights. The remote is actually very responsive and the speed is variable allowing top notch line of sight control. The battery is built in and the car charges from a standard usb c port. Thats really convenient. The remote requires 3 aaa batteries that are not included. The camera can be removed and is held on magnetically. Its nice to be able to remove the camera when yer not filming to save weight and increase battery time. The camera photo and video quality is much better than I expected. However it’s insufficient for fpv driving. I tried driving by looking at my cell phone screen and also put my phone inside a vr headset for phones. In my opinion the camera is too zoomed and the angle is not wide enough for fpv driving. Also theres too much latency to be able to drive fast while in fpv mode. The recorded footage does look nice though. I was un able to drive with the app using my cell phone screen as the controller instead of the remote. The controls were unpredictable and the zoom function was not functioning. The remote does work well. Overall this car is really cool and fun to drive just don’t plan on having an outstanding fpv experience. Read more
