Attractive even in a 125 year-old-home
I was a bit concerned this fixture would be too modern for my home but it has worked out fine. I ordered two: one black and the other brushed nickel. I kept the brushed nickel and gave the black one to the electrician who installed the nickel one. He was pleased to receive it. It was hard, in my tiny bathroom, to get a photo of the way the positions of the bulbs are arranged. Also hard to get the look of the nickel because my bulbs are a warm white (giving a yellow hue). Probably cool white bulbs would be more fitting for this style fixture but they're smart bulbs so I'm not going to change them. I like the way the bulbs can be aimed in the best direction for your needs. The reason I ordered the fixtures was because I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted black or nickel. Both are very nice. And the reason I ordered this style has to do with my age and my fear of going beyond the first step on my step stool when changing bulbs. I could almost reach the bulbs in my previous fixture, but not quite. I wanted a fixture that would let me change how far the bulbs would hang down. Result: perfect. Read more
