Holes are not big enough for the pea puffers to get the blood worms through. I have to stand there and shake the cone. Read more
I placed a frozen cube of bloodworms and when they melted it was hard for my betta to get any. I took them out and just fed via spoon like I have been doing. Maybe this is better for live not frozen bloodworms that will wiggle out of the opening. Read more
I bought this and one other to feed my tiny baby pea puffers. This one won out. They have no issues eating out of it. My plecos come clean up whatever is left at the end of the day as well. 10/10 recommend. The cost was just right. It has held up very well in my tank, and is easy to use as well as easy to clean. It does not take up a lot of space in my tank either. It does its job very well LOL Read more
This arrived in a simple plastic bag. The suction cup is clear but otherwise it looks just like the listing. I prefer the clear as it is easier to blend into the tank. The suction cup needs to be put into the slot but that is easy enough, and it is snug enough that I haven't had a problem with it coming off. This is very light plastic. I have some old ones and this is probably 1/4th the width and weight. It has a lot of bend to it and would not last if something were to be sat on it. There were several sharp spots on this. Mostly they are on the inside of the cone, but there were some on the rim and bottom that could have cut fish. I was able to take a metal nail file to it and smooth them out. Otherwise, it does the job. Slows down the feeding frenzy and reduces chances of worms getting to the substrate. Read more
