100 Cotton Little Girls Underwear Soft Breathable Briefs for Toddlers 2T to 8 Years Old

I ordered this 6 pack of 100% cotton underwear for my 10yo daughter and grabbed the largest size offered, an 8. For reference, she usually wears a 9/10 in clothes but she is petite, so things tend to have room without swallowing her whole. She was in a 6 before and they were starting to look like they were negotiating for their lives. So I sized up. First reaction when I pulled these out of the package? These are FULL coverage. Not “technically coverage but we are cutting it close.” These are actual, proper, mom-approved coverage. On her, they are still slightly roomy, which is exactly what I wanted. They did shrink just a tiny bit in the wash. I wash cold and tumble dry like a normal human, and they came out perfect. Not dramatic shrinkage, just enough to settle into a better fit. Now let’s talk quality. The cotton is thick. Not flimsy, not see-through, not that tissue paper fabric that gives up after 3 washes. Thick, soft, legit cotton. The seams are flat and well sewn. No scratchy edges, no weird bulky stitching. The leg openings are snug without cutting off circulation like tiny fabric tourniquets. There is a tag, but it is soft and silky. She did not complain once, which in 10yo terms is basically a standing ovation. The prints are adorable and vibrant. Even though she is slowly drifting from “little kid cute” into “fashion era,” she still went gaga over the unicorns and bright colors. They are fun without looking cheap or dull. And let’s be honest, underwear gets washed constantly. So having thick, durable cotton that actually holds up is a big deal. I ordered the size 8 for my 7½-year-old daughter, and I’ll say right away — they do run a little bigger than the name-brand underwear I usually grab at a big box store. The fit is slightly roomier overall, especially compared to the more fitted styles we’re used to. See my photo for comparison: Both pairs are Size 8. That being said… I actually love them. They’re 100% cotton, and you can feel the difference. The fabric is thick (in a good way), sturdy, and not flimsy at all. There isn’t a ton of stretch to them, but I don’t mind that because cotton tends to shrink a bit anyway, and I’d rather have substantial fabric than thin, stretchy material that wears out fast. Pros & Cons: ✔ Pros: 100% cotton, nice thick fabric, great coverage, higher waistband, feels durable. ✘ Cons: Runs slightly big; not very stretchy if you prefer a snug fit. The waistband sits a little higher than other kids’ underwear we’ve tried, which I actually like. It gives better coverage and feels more secure — especially for an active kid. Overall, if you’re used to super stretchy, thin big-box store underwear, these will feel different. But if you want thicker cotton, better coverage, and something that feels like it will hold up in the wash, these are a win. I’ve purchased about 5 different sets of underwear in the last 4 months trying to find a cozy, comfortable fit for my daughter. She’s 5 yrs old but her size is more like a seven year old. We’ve had absolutely no luck until recently with these hapipana girls cotton undies. My daughter refuses to wear any other underwear after we got these! I ordered a size 8 for my daughter. These undies do run slightly big, which in our case I do not mind and would rather get my daughter underwear that are a tiny bit big as opposed to something too tight. She’s got a little room to grow into them and they’ve got a little room to get accidentally shrunk in the dryer by my husband. The material is thicker than any of the other 500 pairs I had gotten for her that did not work. These pairs have held up very nicely after a few washes. The cute colors and patterns are still bright! Hapipana kids underwear are thick while still being breathable and cause absolutely no irritation. They are the only underwear my super sensitive daughter will wear.
