We have quite a bit of sand in our well water and this spin-down filter really helps remove a lot of sand prior to our sediment filter, helping to save money by not having to replace the more expensive sediment filter as often. Easy to flush out the sand into a bucket by just opening the valve. Read more
WOW! It is really REALLY good at what it does! I haven't had an irrigation system clog since installation, which was my main reason for purchase. This works as expected and I highly recommend it! I used a piece of foam pipe insulation to cover the clear bowl to inhibit any growth and that's been great at doing so for the past couple months! When I flush it out, I am amazed and shocked at what comes out... like really shocked. No wonder my irrigation drip heads were getting clogged! It is pricy but worth it in my honest opinion. Where I live, in the Vegas desert, if the irrigation system isn't dripping, my plants will die in short order. This has been a life saver for them and a headache reducer for me!! Read more
I purchased this because the one I had before had a little crack in it from my landscape guys so I ordered this to replace it and it's a perfect fit. It works perfectly and I no longer have the leak and it was really easy to replace will definitely buy this again if need be. The filter is doing a great job as well. Read more

Took a while to get the second round of these filters but this is our second order because these filters worked surprisingly better than expected. The longer filter cartridge makes it so water doesnt drop pressure as much and it appears to have 2 or more layers of screen so it doesnt clog up easily nor does it restrict nutrients from passing. The spin down effect does a great job moving any solid material to the bottom for flushing and the clear housing makes it easy to check filter at a glance. Another great thing is it looks like the screen can be purchased as a replacement unlike many other cheaper filters. Read more
