As far back as I can remember, and even as an adult, all the dogs that I have had, have had their ears cropped, either medically or naturally. Anyone who has had a dog with ears that do not flop over, knows the frustration of dealing with dirty ears, ear infections, and all the troubles that are included. I do my best at keeping my dogs ears clean, but being a dog, low to the ground, and their natural behavior, its unavoidable that their ears will collect dirt and grime. For so long, I dealt with regular sized q-tip swabs, cleaning my dogs ears. I didn't know that something like these were even available, but Im so happy that I do know! These swabs are AMAZING!!!! They are about 6" inches in length so you can use both sides without getting nasty from the side thats already soiled. The two ends are two different sizes as well with one being smaller, more like a regular q-tip, and the other side being bigger, thicker, and longer. These are awesome for multipurpose cleaning as well, if you need to get into small places that are narrow and too deep for the length of a regular q-tip. I love the wood stems, as it makes these a lot more durable, able to take more pressure, and not bendy/flexy like the plastic ones. The cotton on the ends is extremely smooth, soft, and contains no hard or gritty particulates, and the longer end assures that you get ALL the dirt not only on the way in, but also the way out. I really love these, but I wish these were sold in-store at convenient stores, especially in bigger quantities. While the price isn't that bad for a 100 count, if youre doing a project that requires a lot of these, a hundred isn't a lot. So, I wish these were sold in bigger quantities, like a box, as opposed to just a vacuum sealed pouch. However, they are so very useful for so many numbers if things, and they've been absolutely GREAT for keeping my dogs ears clean, and free of infections and dirtiness.
