500 miles wear and tear on a heavy tour bike and the gloves aren't showing any wear. I can see nothing but a couple of loose stitches. When I saw the shiny grippy material on the index fingers and thumbs I thought it would rub off and burn away on the 1st ride. 35 to 40 hours ride time of gripping the bars and it is still shiny. As the title suggest, these are my favorite gloves so far. I typically my gloves in x-large depending on the size chart (Recommend always looking at size charts), however, I opted for a large and I don't regret it. The large fits snug which is what I want with velcro-less gloves. It also allows me to grab the handle bar without having so much of the material clumped up around the palm. I'm basing my review around gloves I've used which are by the brands such as Specialized, Dirt Gloves, and have tried on some Fox gloves. Not sure if these are the right gloves, see if your local store has any 100% gloves, doesn't matter which ones they have, the point is to see which size fits the best for you before you order the pair you actually want.
