I was looking for something to keep my devices charged while off grid, and this this solar panel has served well for that purpose. What I like about it is its portability. It is actually lightweight and folds up nicely, just like a briefcase, making it easy to carry around. I have strapped it to my backpack on hikes and it has not been a burden. It has decent power output. I have been able to charge my phone, tablet, and even a small laptop without any issues. It is definitely enough to keep my essential electronics going on a camping trip. It has multiple ports, both usb-a and usb-c ports which is great because we have devices requiring both. I also like that it has a dc output for things like portable power stations. It seems well made and has held up well to being tossed around in my gear. The canvas material feels tough, and the panels themselves seem pretty resistant to scratches. While it does charge devices, it's not the fastest charging experience. Do not expect the same speed as plugging into a wall outlet. It works great & is more than what I expected it to be. For the functionality factor, this is an excellent product to have & I recommend this for green energy. It is very compact when folded, resembling a thin magazine, and can be easily placed in a backpack without taking up too much space. Its setup is very simple. When used outdoors, I particularly like its USB-C output port, which means I can directly connect it to my phone and tablet without the need for additional conversion cables or adapters. However, I must ensure that it is in a place with sufficient sunlight and not blocked by trees, otherwise it will affect its charging performance. Therefore, when the sun moves and the shadows change, I do have to move it from time to time. But it is very lightweight, so this is not a big problem for me. I am a camper so this is perfect for me but I really feel it can work in any lifestyle even just to have on hand for piece of mind in case of an emergency. I have used it to charge my phone, my watch, my portable speaker, and a bunch of other stuff. There are 3 panels that fold into each other and snap closed. Protecting the solar panels to the inside. Once closed it is about the size of my phone times 2, side by side. You also get 2 metal carabiner clips which are super helpful. As soon as I opened the box I was amazed at how compact the panels were. Tested them out and they do charge small electronic devices like phones and earbuds well. They fit very easily into my daypack and added little to no noticeable weight to my pack. For the price and portability of this it’s a must buy for any hikers or anyone who wants to be prepared. These portable solar panels have outperformed a set of panels that I used to have but misplaced. Though I thought both sets of panels performed well, these are lighter, more compact, easier to set up, and have performed better. I was unable to test the lost panels for longevity but these seem superior. Read more
