These are really nice feeling and working sticks! The 10 pack is totally worth it if you have multiple controllers to do or wanna have room to mess up. Uninstalling the old ones is REALLY tough, and this wasn't my first solder rodeo. Once you can get them out, the hard part is over though. Installing these is pretty easy after that. Just changed 3 controllers and non worked. Would centre when checked with calibration tool but goes off hard when fully assembled. Spoiled all 3 controllers opening and closing to resolder it. Read more
10 piece Hall effect joystick replacement modules for PS5 controllers come in a simple plastic protective case, no tools or instructions. The price seems higher than others, but is obviously much cheaper than swapping out controllers. Make sure you have the right tools for the job! I had to watch a video to figure out how to swap the modules, which took about 20 min once I figured out how to do it. The Hall effect modules should be more resistant to drift shift, but I haven’t used the controller enough to wear it down…will definitely update in a few months. Read more
