This is definitely a sturdy, thick and tear resistant tarp. I love that there are large grommets so it can be tied down if you wanted to. It is waterproof and right now I have it outdoors covering my generator so it will be protected from the elements. This is a seriously heavy-duty tarp. You can easily tell by feeling the strength and durability of its 10-mil thickness, and by examining the sturdy reinforced edges, as well as the strong and secure grommets for reliable tie-down. All of these features, combined with the strong and tear-resistant material, makes this a no-brainer as a choice for the most demanding of uses. It is rather heavy, due to its thickness and its size; personally, I would struggle to deploy this tarp without some help (but I’m also older and on the small side!).
