You get a lot in this kit
Normally I'm a fan of "doing it right," blocking things out, and putting in new drywall to patch holes. But sometimes you have a small one where it's just not worth it, or it's in a place where you don't mind a bit of imperfection. That's where these drywall patches come in handy. I probably won't use the largest size just because I'd rather patch a hole that size properly, but the smaller ones are great for quick jobs. These seem to be of similar quality to other drywall patches I've used from the big hardware stores. They're your basic silver colored (aluminum) metal patches that you'll cover with drywall mud (NOT spackle). They're sticky enough to stay in place (based on a test with one of the smallest patches at least). The scraper tools and sandpaper are a nice bonus if you don't already have some. Overall, they work. You get a wide variety of sizes. You also get a lot for your money with this kit. Read more
