Hello! Mechanic/Sewist/Mom here. Short version: Buy These. Why? Here is the Long Version Why: Excellent Price! At this time in August of 2024, I paid $16. 44 for a set of (4) of these Tool Bags. That is $4.11 each. Could not find any made stateside, so I did buy these and presume they are Made in China :( The items arrived quickly and the colors are as depicted, the material very sturdy cotton canvas (like you would see in a Carhartt bag or overalls). These are of generous size and very sturdy (the bag is 11" x 7" but the actual zipper opening is closer to 10 1/2" wide, depth of the bag is 7"). There is no gusset, so these bags will not stand up on their own well, that said, they will hold a lot and appear very durable. A good large zipper properly installed with NO toxic plastic lining catching in the zipper or deteriorating into trash in short order (don't get the kind with plastic lining or waterproofing: that is just toxic forever chemicals that trap moisture around your precious tools, don't do it!). The interior is nicely finished with the seam skillfully encased in a color-matched binding. With the simple well executed design of thick breathable cotton canvas and heavy duty metal zipper (with an easy-to-grab zipper pull featuring a catchy logo), they should last a long time ~ even with rough treatment. I would not hesitate to toss these in the wash if they get dirty. Just stain treat if needed and then zip closed, launder with like colors on a cold setting ~ just don't put them in the dryer, instead lay flat or hang by strap and reshape them a bit by tugging them into shape and then let air dry. The extra thick nylon wrist strap is very sturdy and seems to be firmly stitched in place. The strap is large enough to go around your hand (even if you have big burly Man Hands!) These would be great for: Gift Bag! TOOLS, First Aid, Lunch, EDC, Foraging Bag, Crafts (to hold your Manly Knitting Supplies!), Toilet Kit, Camping Gear, Fishing Gear, Basic Auto Repair Kit, Pet First Aid Kit! Toys, Snacks, Cosmetics, Manly Minimalist Overnight Bag, Art Supplies, Books, School Pencil/Supplies Bag, etc. You get the idea. I bought these to make Hygiene Care Kits for any Young Lads at our local High School who might need a bit of TLC. I had made up some of these kits for the Young Ladies and packed those items in insulated lunch boxes, but not finding a deal on lunch boxes I thought I would try these tool bags for the Lads. Good Call! If you are interested in doing this for your school, just stuff them with necessary items (and some fun items to brighten someone's day), then give them to the School Nurse or School Counselor, they will know best who needs some TLC. Some items you may choose to include: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Comb, Hair Gel, Soap, Wash Cloth, Handkerchief, Moisturizer, Facial Tissue, Lip Balm, Deodorant, *Solid Cologne, Hand Sanitizer Q-Tips, Floss Wands, and for fun: flash light, playing cards, fidget toy, silly putty, zombie apocalypse novel or like, stickers, gum, candy, etc (if you make up some Care Kits for Ladies, be sure to include some sanitary items, a scrunchie, hand mirror, lip gloss, solid or roll-on perfume as well). Whenever possible, I try to find TRAVEL SIZE items so I can cram as much as I can in one bag. I did not include shaving items as my care kits are going to a High School and I thought the School Nurse might get a bit alarmed about razors). I recommend these without reservation and will buy again. I was not sponsored in any way, but come to think of it, I'd be happy to receive these for free to fill with necessities for those in need, so if Foxrino wants to send me some I'd be delighted and will make sure they are seen and used by lots of other folks, in the meantime, I will probably buy some more as I can see lots of uses for this quality product.
