These are excellent for the price range. I love the little plastic box they come in for storage, the bags are very neatly labeled with the mm size. Sizes in G are not labeled, but conversion tables online could help if that is an issue. The half-sizes between normal G size separations make life so much easier when stretching. The stainless steel is high quality and has not caused me any discomfort, I did wash throughly before using to remove any manufacturing residue. They shine and look very good. Contrary to other reviews, I did not find the indent for the O-ring to be sharp at all. It is very comfortable upon insertion and just like the other divots on most single flair plugs. I prefer single flair plugs with the divot as otherwise the o-rings come off very easily. I am re-stretching after a year or so break from having stretched ears right now. A lot of my old jewelry of the correct size was very uncomfortable. These are much more comfortable to sleep in than any of the stainless steel tunnel stretching sets I've bought previously. I was shocked when I had no problems sleeping in them. The O-rings work well and stay snugly. It is a bonus that coworkers and family members would be unlikely to detect that your ears are stretched while wearing these. I would highly, highly recommend this kit. Read more

This is the second time that I have ordered these single flare metal plugs, the first being the set that goes to 7mm and now the set that starts at 7.5mm. Long story short- these are a really great value as long as you know what you are purchasing. I have stretched and had my lobes repaired several times throughout my life, so I’m a real stickler for making sure size matches what it says it is. With scar tissue, I just can’t risk a blowout. I measured each of these with a set of (cheap) digital calipers and all of them were within 0.15 mm of the correct size. That difference could just an inaccuracy of the calipers. These are more consistent in size than many glass sets I have purchased due to the way the glass plugs are made. I have sensitive skin in general, my lobes hate stretching, and cheap surgical steel usually causes any irritation I have to be tenfold in other piercings (so I usually only use titanium). These plugs do have a decent “metal” smell to them which I have never noticed with reputable surgical steel or titanium. It makes me wonder what metal these are made with- but that being said, I have had ZERO irritation from these plugs. I knew before ordering that the metal was potentially not as advertised, but the wide range of sizes included was worth that risk for me. If you have any known metal allergies I would use with caution. The size range is amazing. No where else have I found half mm sizes in a set. It is pretty easy to find half sizes (like 7g or 1g), but these are truly half mm increments which is like 1/4 sizes in some cases. It undoubtedly changed how healthy my stretching journey was going, and allowed me to stop using the taping method (which felt really icky). There are no sharp edges, no imperfections, nothing to cause any undue harm to your hole when stretching. They do have a decent weight to them (especially in bigger sizes), which aids in speeding up the stretching ever so slightly. I do not plan to wear these once I get to goal size. These aren’t fancy and there is no variety (obviously, they are just metal plugs), but I personally like that they all match. To my friends, family, and coworkers- it looks like I’m wearing the same metal earrings for months on end. In actuality, I’ve continued to size up and eventually one day I’ll wear see through plugs that’ll knock their socks off. This would’ve been a real treat when I was younger and my parents put limitations on the max size I could be. I have serious question about the legitimacy of the jojoba oil included in this set. I am no oil expert, but I already owned a reputable sourced jojoba oil before ordering these sets. When compared, they smell and look quite different. I had some slight itching when patch testing the included jojoba oil on the back of my hand. Ymmv, but I would not purchase this set based on the jojoba inclusion alone. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great price for what you get. I love this stretching kit as it not only goes up 0.5mm increments which make stretching progress feel continuous rather than waiting long periods between large mm stretches but these plugs have a nice weight which, I feel, helps the stretch progress. I should have used this kit from the start of my stretching. I wish they had a kit that goes larger than 12mm. Arrived right on time when I was ready to size up. Went in smoothly and it wasn’t too heavy but heavy enough to get a little weight to stretch with. It’s comfortable wearing them (if you’re sizing up correctly) and definitely worth the money given that its sizes go up in .5 increments. I will say they aren’t bad but there is like one concern. A few of the sizes I got had ones that were SLIGHTLY bigger or smaller than the other piece of jewelry and so it made things a bit difficult.
