I've been on the hunt to replace the fixture we had in our 1991 home, and this chandelier is everything I have been looking for! My husband installed it just in time for us to enjoy before the holidays, and he said it was very easy to install. And that's coming from someone who doesn't do electrical work very often! For the bulbs, I bought clear 60w Edison bulbs in the color "soft white" (with an E26 medium base, as the product description suggests). The soft white is perfect if you like warmer toned light without it being too yellow, as opposed to cool-toned, department store vibes! Lastly, the level of brightness that this fixture provides is incredible! We ordered the one with 12 bulbs and my house is SO much brighter because of it. I made a rookie mistake of not looking at dimensions and this fixture doesn’t seem adjustable since it’s metal rods, not chains. From a 9’ ceiling, it came inches above the dining room table- we were able to fold up the bars and make do for now until I find another one. Otherwise, beautiful fixture with brass color and easy install. Read more
I changed out my living room ceiling light with the "sputnik" style light fixture. It looks really cool and modern. I had an electrician install it, so I can't say whether it is easy to install, but it seemed pretty easy, and was fast. Looks pretty and casts lots of light Read more
We have been interested in "sputnik" style chandeliers for some time and visited several lighting stores but were very drawn to this design and ordered from Amazon. The chandelier arrived extremely well packaged and was easy to assemble. Amazing value and a great design offering maxium light output when needed. Definitely recommend a dimmer switch, it can be very bright. Read more
