I got these for my 5.5 yr old daughter. (She’s 44.5 inches tall). We live in Florida and she just started kindergarten & needs shorts that are dress code and not too short. She has shorts but they’re considered too short for school & she has so many pants and capris but gets upset it’s too hot she doesn’t wanna wear them so this was literally a great find for the price to have so many shorts and colors. Upon receiving these I actually really like them. I got the 6-7 year old size so to have room to grow. I was afraid they’d be too big to use right now but they honestly fit her perfect with room to grow! And long enough for school. They are very soft material as well, definitely alittle sheer thin. But honestly in a way will not make her sweat in the heat here in Florida and also I had her try some on and even though it’s thin I couldn’t see through and couldn’t see her underwear or the designs so it’s still appropriate clothing! These are nice little shorts! I bought a size up for my daughter and I'm glad I did because they run a bit small I think even though they are supposed to be tight. My daughter loves them and says they are comfortable. They are perfect to wear under dresses, skirts, and even to just wear with a t-shirt. I seen others mention them being see through but we haven't noticed that except with the yellow. I hesitated on buying them because of some of the reviews but I'm glad I did because they were a really good deal for the price and my daughter has gotten a lot of use out of them and still wears them a lot. The fabric is soft but thin. It’s a good weight fabric for summer. These aren’t snug fitting like bike shorts or dance pants, they are loose like basketball shorts. They’re good for under dresses and tunics, but are a bit see-through as regular shorts. However, they’re comfortable and easy to play in, great for hot weather. Read more
These are very inexpensive for the number of pairs you get. And you get what you paid for. Yes, they are quite thin. Yes, they run small (made to fit tight.) Would I send my kids to daycare in these? Only under other clothing. But the reality is that I paid less than half per pair what I would pay for more robust shorts, and we use them every day. I bought the normal size for my 4 yr old and they fit my 4 yr old a bit tight and because of the diapers, they even fit my 2 yr old, albeit loosely. But they do fit well enough to wear them, so we use them to have spare clothes in our "go bag" for both kids. We use them to wear under dresses and skirts. We use them to have a change of clothes for messy activities like painting and playing in the mud. Or for after water play. Or for nap time. With two young kids, sometimes I just need to carry a change of clothes in my cargo pockets "just in case." They're perfect for that, too. Read more
Great to wear under a dress, but they tend to be see through so not for an only pair of shorts to wear around in public. They are soft and wash well when dirty. They are not too long so they are best worn under a dress. Read more

I am super disappointed with these shorts. I bought them for my daughter to wear under her dresses. I made sure to check that they are machine washable, and they are, but what they don’t say is that you cannot put them in the dryer. Annoying, but not the end of the world, I guess. Anyway, when they arrived, I dumped them straight in the washer from the bag without thinking to check them out. When the wash cycle was done, I pulled out all our clothes and set each pair of shorts aside as I found them while putting the other laundry in the dryer. I was shocked to find only eight pairs of shorts when I ordered twelve. I checked the washing machine and pulled all of our clothes out of the dryer to go through very carefully to confirm I hadn’t accidentally tossed some in the dryer with the other clothes. Sure enough, we did not get four of the pairs of shorts that are pictured in the product description. We are missing one of the lighter blues, the green, the yellow, and the red shorts. These shorts are clearly made from cheap material. There are already loose threads and threads sticking out of the seams after one wash. They are super thin and definitely see through. They most definitely should only be worn under dresses because they absolutely will show the diapers/undies underneath. I did not use any stain remover products on the shorts. Like I said, I literally dumped the bag of shorts out into the wash without checking them. Once I pulled the shorts out and started examining them, I noticed there are already light spots on the lightest blue shorts. While I do see loose/pulled threads on all the shorts, I don’t see any spots on the other colors. Basically, these are super cheap and a waste of money. Read more
