When I pulled these frilly, furry, silly looking masks out I rolled my eyes & thought to myself "That'll teach me for buying something like this over the internet." The elastic didn't look very sturdy and, as a guy who just needs light blocked out for when I sleep during my odd daytime sleeping schedule, I wasn't very thrilled with the frilled/furry look & feel. I'm happy to tell you that I can't be more happy to have been wrong! Who cares about them being a little furry when they're this darned comfortable! The elastic is much better than it appears, & holds the mask comfortably & securely. They block out the light fantastic too! Plus, that "fur" or whatever it is is so soft & feels nice on my face lol.
