Well that worked AWESOME! I used this 18v jump start unit for the first time today on my wifes scooter. Fired right up! I have not tried it on a full sized auto yet, but it worked well for this small application. It is compact, portable, and ridiculously easy to use. Recommended! Read more

Works as advertised! Mainly got this to provide 12v power for emergencies. I jumped the riding lawn mower with it, and it worked fantastic. It's really for small engines or batteries that are good but weak. If you have a car with a completely dead and defective battery (ie no battery), then a small 18v power tool battery is probably not going to be sufficient to jump it. However, in an emergency or run down battery situation it will do the trick. It can also power winches and transfer pumps if you know how. There is a built in down step that steps down voltage from 18 to 13.5 volts. That's a huge plus as too many volts can damage sensitive components. Overall it's a good quality product and the wire gauge is good enough to support 30amps. I would recommend it, very good value for the money and comes in handy in emergencies! Read more

This is a great jump box. It seems to have a protection limiting voltage to 100mv until it's connected to a 12v battery. It brought my john deere battery from 12.4v to 13.4v after hooking it up! It's great to have this for a quick jump box that works with my Milwaukee batteries. Read more
