I picked up this 13 in 1 surge protector power strip because I needed a compact way to handle a mix of bulky adapters, regular plugs, and USB charging on and around my desk, and it has ended up being one of those small purchases that noticeably reduces daily friction. The layout of the 8 widely spaced AC outlets is genuinely thoughtful: even with a couple of oversized brick style chargers plugged in, there is still room left for standard plugs without having to play Tetris or sacrifice a socket. The 3 USB ports have been especially useful for phones, tablets, and small accessories, letting me leave a separate charger block in my bag instead of permanently living on the power strip. The flat plug and 5 foot cord also make it easy to slide behind furniture and route cleanly to the wall, so the whole setup feels neater and more deliberate rather than a tangle of cables on the floor. From a usability perspective, it feels like a good fit for a dorm, home office, or even travel, since you get a lot of functionality in a relatively slim footprint without needing multiple separate strips or wall chargers. The surge protection and ETL listing add a bit of peace of mind when using it with more expensive electronics like monitors, game consoles, or a laptop docking setup, since it is clearly designed as more than just a basic outlet splitter. Noise and heat have not been issues in daily use, and the strip sits flat and stable on a desk or the floor without sliding around. Overall, if you are trying to consolidate chargers and power bricks into a single, cleaner station and want both extra outlets and USB charging in one place, this power strip delivers exactly what it promises and makes a workspace feel more organized and functional. I’m mostly happy with this power strip from Solidock. I was looking for a power strip with enough spacing for wall wart power supplies along with a few built-in USB power ports. This model has a 5 foot power cord and a wall-hugging plug, which makes it easy to route under a desk. The cord is flexible and long enough to give some freedom in placement. The two keyhole slots on the back, along with a recessed screw hole accessible from the top, make it easy to mount the power strip to a flat surface. A simple pencil rubbing on paper even works as a quick template for drilling screw pilot holes in the bottom of the desktop or side of a desk for mounting. The USB A and USB C ports are very basic. They are fixed 5V outputs without any fast-charging or power-delivery negotiation. All of the USB ports seem to share a single internal power budget, which explains why the per-port rating matches the maximum combined output. This works fine for my basic networking devices, KVM switches, and even an external LCD monitor, all of which are happy running off basic 5V USB power although maybe not all at the same time. However, many of the product photos show phones being charged and most people will expect fast charging or USB-PD support, which this power strip does not provide. Some of the labeling is a bit confusing. The power button is marked “Reset” for the on position and the LED indicator is labeled “Grounded Protection.” The switch itself looks like it could illuminate but it does not. Instead, small blue LEDs indicate that the strip is receiving AC power from the wall outlet. Additionally, one of the listing graphics incorrectly swaps the counts of the USB C and USB A ports and overstates the USB C power output (claiming 5V/24A), which does not match the specifications printed on the back of the power strip. This is a functional power strip with good physical design and basic USB power but you will still want smarter chargers to fast charge cell phones or power a Steam Deck type of device. Read more

This power strip has been extremely useful and well thought out for everyday needs. The flat plug is a standout feature because it sits flush against the wall, making it perfect for tight spaces behind desks, beds, or sofas without bending the cord. The 5-foot extension cord provides great flexibility, allowing me to place it exactly where I need it without stretching or clutter. With 8 AC outlets and 3 USB ports, it easily replaces multiple adapters and chargers. I can power my laptop, monitor, printer, lamp, phone, tablet, and other devices at the same time without any issue. The outlets are widely spaced, which is a big plus, large plugs and power bricks don’t block neighboring outlets. The USB ports are convenient for charging phones and accessories directly, keeping the workspace clean and organized. The build quality feels solid and durable, not flimsy or cheap. It stays in place on the desk and doesn’t slide around. Knowing it’s ETL listed and provides surge protection adds peace of mind when using it with valuable electronics. It works equally well in a home office, dorm room, travel setup, or shared space where multiple devices need power. Overall, this is a reliable, practical, and space-saving power strip that offers excellent functionality. It simplifies charging, reduces cord mess, and handles multiple devices smoothly, making it a great everyday essential. Read more

I’m so glad I got this. It can hold so many plugs at once. It functions perfectly. It can be mounted to the wall or wherever. Multiple port options. The cord could be longer, however it’s fine the way it is. Very effective and I feel like it’s so much more easier to just get one of these for the areas you have to unplug things all the time. Save yourself the frustration. These are amazing. Great quality. Good value also. Read more
