I bought a pair of dumbbells that weigh 10 lb each, twice more than most dumbbells of this design. It's easy to add and remove pair(s) of weights in order to switch between 4, 6, 8 and 10 lb, and a simple latching mechanism keeps the weights on the dumbbells. These are so versatile and cut down on clutter for a home gym. They are so easy to adjust that you can quickly change weights mid circuit to find the perfect weight for each movement.
