This massage gun was a lot bigger than I expected, which was actually a nice surprise. It feels solid and powerful, and the size makes it great for reaching sore muscles. The handle is easy to grip and hold while it’s on, which makes it comfortable to use. It does need to be charged before the first use, but once it’s ready it works really well. It charges easily with a Type-C cord, which is convenient. The 16 different heads give you a lot of flexibility for different pressure points and muscle areas, which is a big plus. The massage itself isn’t an extremely intense deep tissue massage, it’s more soothing and relaxing, which I actually prefer for regular use. It’s also not too noisy, so it’s comfortable to use without a lot of loud vibration sounds. I’d say it’s great for both professional or personal use. Overall, this Maybins 16 head massager feels pretty good! I deducted 1 star for one reason I did not care for. The 16 head massager balls are a type of foam rubber material. They feel good but the heads kind of stick to your clothes as your moving this thing around. I think the heads should be made out of a harder, smoother, rubber like material like a couple other massagers I have, as they glide over your clothes better. This has decent power, but with 16 heads, this really isn't a "get in their and work a muscle out" type of massager. Since the coverage area is so large, this is more of a "I'm going to cover you with gentle waves" type of massager. If you are looking for something to really get into a single muscle, then a single action head is probably more up your alley. Battery life appears to be decent and being cordless is a huge plus to me. It's also not very heavy either for being cordless, so its easy for someone to use it on you without wearing themselves out. Overall, it does feel good, but like I mentioned above, you may need a more intense single head if you want to really target a single muscle. Based on the quality, 16 head large coverage, and price point, I consider this a decent value for an overall comfortable massage! It is substantial in: ◦ size at roughly 16.5” L x 6.5” W (6.75” W for 16 round heads) x 5.5” H and ◦ weighs in at about 122 g / 43.1 oz (2 lbs 11.1 oz). This unit seems to be well made and its substantial nature and 2 handles are great for using individually or on another person. Using a chair, I tried putting it in my lumbar area and leaned back; it was blissful. The 3 control buttons are very simple to use: the left most button powers it on and off and switches between 3 programs (massage patterns) while the other 2 are for increasing and decreasing between the 30 intensity levels. Using a non-professional phone app situated right next to the unit, the sound level readings were about 25 dB (level 1) to 40 (level 30); 25 dB to 30dB pressed against body. These readings are in line with those in the listing and really pretty quiet overall. Per an American Academy of Audiology chart, I was directed to by Amazon AWS (attached), these sounds fall in to the “Faint” to “Soft” categories. The battery is listed as providing 6 hours of use for a 3-hour charge (I did not test run time). Note the LED shows “88” (not 100) when the battery is fully charged (likely because the LED can only display 2 characters at a time). The 16 round heads remind me a bit of ping pong balls from a size standpoint (about 1.375” diameter). They are a foam like material that is pretty rigid but feels right to me for massaging. OVERALL, I like this massager quite a bit given the size, substantial built, versatility, and quiet operation. As a massager, by nature it must vibrate quite a bit so how long and well it holds up will be interesting. It appears to be competitively priced and I plan to put it to good use frequently. This is a great idea in theory, but in practice it just does not have enough power to work as anything close to a massage device. The moment you apply even the slightest pressure, the massage heads stop moving. I am not talking about deep tissue pressure either. Even very light contact will cause the heads to stall. Because of that it really ends up functioning more like a muscle vibrator than a massager. I was really excited to try this because I deal with back muscle issues and something like this could be very useful, and the pictures on the listing of a woman leaning against this for a back massage is exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately the lack of motor strength means it simply cannot perform anything close to what could be considered a massage. The plastic construction feels fairly cheap as well. To be fair, nothing has broken and it technically works, but the materials feel more like lightweight dollar store plastic than what you would expect from a device in this price range. It does have several modes and speed levels to choose from with what seems to be decent battery life, and the soft ball attachments are comfortable. They are gentle enough that you could even use them on your head without it hurting, though the vibration still feels a little odd. Just be careful not to pull on them because they will come off and roll away. If this were priced around twenty dollars it might make sense as a light vibration tool. I'd give it three stars if it were priced at $50, but at the time of this review it is listed for close to one hundred dollars, and at that price the performance (especially compared to the listing photo examples) makes me feel like it's a bate and switch.
