I really.wanted to leave these 5 stars.....
I absolutely love these little candles. I'm a candle collector, of sorts, I guess. I love to have them lit and the ambiance they create. I also highly value an attractive candle with a good, strong fragrance. These fantastic little, soy candles check nearly every box except the fragrance is nearly nonexistent, especially once lit. There are SO many in this set, I got the 36 for Mother's Day (it arrived so fast). They are nice quality soy wax which is a big plus, much cleaner. The tins are reusable so technically no trash except for the box (and the tiny bit of wax/wick after burning) but we can recycle the box. Really, I adore these but I am quite disappointed that the fragrances do not come through. Still, well worth the purchase and I will undoubtedly purchase these again in a couple months. ***UPDATE*** I know I read in someone else's review something negative about burn time on these little guys but I wanted to say that first candle I lit the day they arrived, and every day since (this is day 3), and allowed to burn for at least 2-3 hours each time is still going. I don't know what more anyone could expect out of a votive size tinned candle. Read more
makes a very nice exchange present
With Christmas recently over I'd like to share a story about this product. During my (very large) family's annual white elephant gift exchange party where we are allowed to "steal" someone else's gift rather than pick an anonymous one from the pile, this gift was the most "stolen" of the night. The family went for the scented candles in the decorative tins so often that we had to limit the number of steals to keep it from getting out of hand. So there's that. Read more
