This was such a great value for 16 yoga mats. These are some very nice yoga mats. I am pleased with the size and the width of these mats. They are thin but the padding feels nice. They roll up nicely to be a nice compact size making them easy to take along to the park or a yoga class. They also make for a good sleeping mat. They ley nice and flat on the ground and are non-slip. I like knowing that this is as safe product that made from non-toxic materials. Read more

These Yoga mats are quite nice, they're certainly the more value oriented ones and so you're not getting a super thick comfortable mat but more like the ones that you would end up getting if you were to go to a yoga class where the mats are supplied. I compared these with my other yoga mats that I have and for my value yoga mat it's nearly exact, except this is newer and more comfortable than my older worn down one. I ultimately got these because during the summer months we'll often have guests over and sometimes we engage in various activities and yoga sounds like one of the ones that some of our friends would enjoy to do pool side, it's nice and relaxing and always a blast to do with friends and family and therefore the mats will be put to good use! I am hosting an exercise class for the residents where I serve as an event coordinator. We wanted to have mats for the participants, so no one slips and falls while we are doing the stretches and whatnot. I was thrilled when I spotted this assortment of mats, but I did not realize how thin they were going to be. I love the color assortment. There are violet, red, orange, lime, royal blue, black and gray mats. This lets everyone pick a color they like and helps them tell theirs apart from the others. The mats are textured on both sides and the rubber is tacky, so they grip both the floor and your feet well. I don’t think we will have anyone slipping or falling with these at our events. Since the floors at the clubhouse are hardwood, these will offer a bit of padding, as well, for anyone in stocking feet. For those who prefer to exercise barefooted, they provide a sanitary barrier between them and the floor, as well as keep feet from getting cold in the winter time. The dimensions of these mats are 24 x 68 inches, so they allow plenty of space for most of our exercises. What is disappointing is how thin these are. The mats are barely 1/8 inch thick. They are not very dense, either, and they do not spring back quickly. So they do not offer any real padding for knobby knees or boney feet when used on bare floors. They would probably work fine for children, but they do not provide enough padding or support for an adult. These mats are lightweight and portable, so they would be helpful to keep in your car to use when traveling. They would be okay if used over a low-pile carpet in a motel or other public facility, or they could provide a barrier between you and “nature,” should you do your exercises outside. Used at the beach, they should keep some of the sand out of your beach towel, too. They might also be good to protect floors from exercise equipment, such as an elliptical machine, at home. However, for when I do floor exercises, I prefer using a mat at least a half inch thick to minimize discomfort. Currently offered at about $107 for the set of 16 (about $6.75 each), this set would be an economical purchase for a gym teacher, preschool, or childcare facility. Read more
