I just got it set up and tested its functionality. I only ran into one big problem. Though everything worked correctly, the unit is app dependant to the degree that you have to have the app open and live viewing activated for motion detection recording to take place. If you close the app, the app gets shut down, or the phone is off there is no motion detection activation in the unit. Not very practical for me as I want reliable monitoring at all times irregardless. Just turning on the unit does not give you protection and motion detection monitoring.
