Most of these Music / MP3 players made in China are crap. Had to send a few back... But this one, surprisingly, works well. It's essentially a small cute phone sans phone capability. The caveat is that I've only had it for a few days. Various reviews for similar devices from other brands indicate problems including developing an overheating issue, battery capacity depleting after several weeks or failing altogether, or becoming inoperable due to system update errors. If anything of the sort happens, will update this review. As far as sound quality -- it's surprisingly good • Wired Headphones: Decent • Bluetooth Speaker: Fairly Good • Bluetooth Headphones: Good • The phone speaker itself: Not good; low and tinny The device has a 13 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera, nostalgically bringing one back to the days of early smartphones. It comes with an 128GB MicroSD card + clear protective case + clear screen overlay that's supposed to be pulled off but one can just use as a screen protector for a while. The case blocks the MicroSD card and you have to take it off in order to remove it It seems the music player itself won't connect to newer laptops/computers -- not the best; one reason for the half star demotion. But you can download files by putting the MicroSD card into a common external adapter / card reader or via WiFi using a program like LocalSend It doesn't come with a native MP3/music file player, but you can easily download one from the Play Store such as Musicolet It's true that by, like, 2018, many smartphones generally had good sound quality, and instead of this device one could just buy a used older phone, like the Samsung S10, for maybe $50 more, and it would have fractionally better sound--and definitely way better if you're using just the phone speaker. And the battery would probably be better. The main advantages of getting this music player are cosmetic and functional: it's small-ish, and kind of cute, and better suited for the gym and exercise. The media could not be loaded. I got this MP3 player for my niece and it’s been great. The 160GB storage is huge, perfect for all her music and videos. The touch screen is easy to use and the sound quality is really good. She can stream Spotify with WiFi or use it offline, which makes it very flexible. I like that it works like a small tablet but without the need for a phone plan, so it feels safer for kids. Overall, an excellent choice for a first music player. Read more

I really wanted to like this MP4 player, but the experience has been nothing but frustrating. The device stopped working after just a few months of normal use. Since it was still under warranty, I reached out to the seller for help. They initially replied asking for my order information, which I provided right away. After that, they completely disappeared. I tried contacting them again—twice. One time they ignored me entirely, and the other time they responded as if it was the first time we’d spoken, asking again for the same product info. I sent it, and once again… nothing. At this point it feels like they’re just stalling or hoping I’ll give up. A warranty is meaningless if the seller won’t honor it. The product failed quickly, and the customer service has been unreliable at best. Save yourself the headache and look for a more dependable brand. Read more

I had originally intended to leave a 5 star review because when we bought these two devices for our kiddos they worked like a dream. HOWEVER, about a month ago the camera app just disappeared from both of them and we could not access it or the cameras. I felt something was fishy but reached out to the company at the end of December after giving it some thought. We really enjoyed the devices and had bought them for our upcoming trip for the kids to have music. We really did not want to get rid of them. They said they would reach out to the higher company and get back with us. I have not heard anything back. I had to do a hard reset on the device for my youngest as he had messed with some settings. Suddenly, the camera app was back on but it would not open. I thought maybe the camera had been broken but realized that both boys breaking the camera on separate devices at the same time had little to none chance of happening. I installed a second camera app and it tried to turn on the camera. It said it could not open the camera because the camera was already in use by another app. I went on and disabled every app I had available to run the camera and it still would not turn on. It would not let me uninstall the camera app that was pre-installed on the device and every time I disabled it, the app turned right back on. Can't say for sure if it was recording my children without our knowledge, but since I couldn't access the camera because something was running it, I can only guess. We have sent the devices back because the safety of our kids identities is huge and other parents should be aware that this happened. Read more
