I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas, and she loves it. It has a beautiful picture; you would expect it to have a good picture playing a DVD, and it does, but what really surprised me was that it also has a great picture on the TV. It comes with a little tiny antenna that I didn't think would pick up anything, but it works much better than expected. It picks up all of the local TV and Radio stations. It also comes with an adapter so you can hook a coaxial HDTV antenna to it if you are in an area with weaker signals. It's pretty much like every other TV out there when it comes to setup, so if you have ever set up any TV this one will be quick and easy for you. It has good sound quality and is louder than most portable TVs I have seen, which is nice since it plays CDs and the radio. It does have a headphone jack if you want to listen without disturbing anyone else, but in 2026, I can't believe it's not Bluetooth compatible; that's the biggest con it has in my opinion, you can't just pair your earbuds with. It seems to have pretty good battery life, and it comes with an AC adapter and a cigarette lighter adapter. Speaking of batteries, it comes with a remote control, but for some reason they cheaped out and didn't supply batteries for the remote so grab a couple AAA batteries if you want to use the remote. You don't have to have the remote it has controls on the unit, but us lazy people don't want to have to get up to change channels or mute commercials. lol Grab a Fire TV Stick or Roku and plug it into the HDMI port, and you can watch all of your favorite stuff anywhere you can get internet. This is an amazing device. It plays DVDs region-free. I put in my Region 2 Japanese Import Kill Bill Vol. 1, and it plays it without hesitation. Of course, it plays normal American Region 1 DVDs (and audio CDs) just fine too. I wish it played Blu-rays, but at this price point, that's not a practical wish. It tunes in all the local TV stations for OTA TV and pulls in all the local FM radio stations, which is also convenient. I like how you can program the ATSC tuner to access your "favorite" stations and ignore the stations that you typically don't want to watch. I'm going to use it for travel/camping -- pulling in the OTA TV and FM radio stations is important for weather reports while outdoors IMO, plus watching DVD movies at night is a luxury. The screen resolution is stunning and immersive. The sound is pretty good without headphones and excellent with headphones. For the TV and FM reception, I used an aftermarket indoor HDTV antenna that I already had, which for me works better than the antenna that comes in the box. Pofoto does include an antenna adapter so that you can use any other antenna with a coaxial lead-in. The battery seems to hold its charge well and lasts longer than three full 2-hour movies combined. I have not used the HDMI/Composite AV/Micro SD/USB ports, but I'm sure they work great. The remote, for the most part, isn't needed as the controls on the unit are good enough for most applications. However, there are some things that the remote is very useful for -- like accessing your "favorite" list for TV stations. It fits in a standard 17" aftermarket laptop case (mine is a Case Logic case). Overall, I'm quite pleased with the quality of this device. Time will tell how robust it is to normal use, but I tend to take care of my electronic devices, so I'm looking forward to many years of service. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Great value for money! We bought this so we could watch numerous educational dvds we purchased years ago before everything went digital. It was easy to setup, plays professional and burnt dvds. It was a surprise it came with an antenna for air tv that works remarkably well and pulled in lots of stations without any careful placement for best reception. Just plugged it in where we unboxed it. The battery life is good, it is light and portable, ideal for van life or camping. The remote control is intuitively laid out. The display is clear and very good for the price point. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star rather than 5 is because it has a headphone jack rather than Bluetooth capability, who has headphones with a jack approaching 2026. Other than that it’s pretty ideal for the cost.. 4.5 stars if Amazon gave the option. Read more
This is a DVD/TV player that covers many bases and does it well. The picture (for both TV and DVD's) is clear and the color is vivid. In addition to these two main functions, it can also take an SD card, USB device, has FM radio and more. I will be hooking up my FireTV stick for its Prime features. Looking forward to watching videos, having already found out that the DVD/TV player plays DVD's from across zones (something my other DVD player cannot do) and like the fact that a TV antenna (tabletop) is included. I bought older versions of this DVD player and am pleasantly surprised with the upgrade. The screen size is more than adequate for a portable dvd player. The picture quality is very clear. The TV and radio didn't connect at all but that's because I live in a rural area where service area is terrible. The remote and player buttons all are easy to use and easily identifiable. It does a great job for the price that I paid, especially with the provided coupon. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Read more
