These towels are not traditional cotton towels. They are microfiber. They are very soft and fluffy when dry. However, when you go to dry yourself it is a very different experience than traditional cotton towels. Cotton towels absorb the water into the towel and when you’re done the towel is very wet. These towels keep the water on the surface of the towel so when you’re done the towel is not completely wet and it will dry fast. Since the water stays on the surface it takes several passes to get dry. With a cotton towel I only need one pass to be completely dry. Also, they are a bit see through at all the vertical seams. I’m not sure if this will affect the durability. I’ve washed them twice so far and they seem to come out of the dryer soft and fluffy. It is a good price considering they are larger than traditional towels and it is a set. I use the medium towels for my hair. I have curly hair and they seem to keep the curls intact more than cotton towels. I use the small ones for hand towels and with the quantity in the set I can replace them every day. If you are a person who does not like change don’t buy these towels. I gave two stars because of the price for such a large set and the color options but if the return window hadn’t expired I wouldn’t keep them. Read more

Towels are ok. Soft but they are that obnoxious synthetic fiber that microfiber cleaning cloths are made of. Not what I was hoping for, but to be fair the description didn’t claim to be anything other than what they are so I can’t hate too much. Read more

These are almost too soft to be a towel. They honestly feel more like a blanket than a towel. However, I haven't used them because they were bought for my spare bedroom so I am hoping that with some use they will not be as soft and will feel more like a towel. Will update once they've been used and I can ask my guests what they think. Read more
