Please note that my assessment (5 stars) is relative; it is based on a comparison with the following two other brands purchased at the same time as this product: > 1. Ampad Evidence Glue Top 8-1/2 x 11 Pads, Wide Rule, White, 50 Sheets Per Pad, 12 Pack (21-112) Depending on what you are used to using to take notes and/or the method by which you take notes, please also note the following: > Pros: >> ***all horizontal lines on each page - 1 through 50 - line up with each other (there is no "blur" effect from horizontal lines on subsequent sheets appearing through top sheets; this is remarkable) >> writes smoothly (there are no fibers that clog-up my pens; there is no "scratching" sensation that tends to occur from writing on cheaper, grainy paper) >> sheets separate from the glue-top cleanly >> full 28 lines (29th bottom line is slightly narrower) >> distinctive blue-green horizontal lines >> distinctive single red vertical margin on the (a) left-hand side of the front of each sheet and (b) right-hand side of the back of each sheet >> firm cardboard backing > Con: >> the single red vertical margin does not line up consistently from sheet to sheet (the measurements from the long-edge of each sheet ranges from (shortest) 1-and-three-sixteenths inches to (longest) 1-and-five-sixteeths inches; a minor inconvenience that causes a slight "blur" effect from the subsequent sheet appearing through the top sheet).
