I order from Quinn's Fins all the time and I've never had an issue with their fish. Honestly, the only fish store I'd recommend to people on Amazon, I've ordered from at least 4 companies and Quinn's Fins is the only one I've never had a DOA with. The Banded Kuhli Loach I got was as described, 2 inches and absolutely adorable. The packaging was IMMACULATE with insulation and a heat pack to keep the little dude warm. Shipping was really fast. Packaging was great. Loaches arrived healthy. They are young/small. I always feel like juveniles adjust to a tank better, so I was happy about that. I saw them for a few minutes, and they disappeared into the cracks of bluestone. I'm very happy with the loaches, and can't wait to see them grow. Read more
The media could not be loaded. Took a long time to get a review on these guys, I don’t remember how long ago I got them. Maybe two weeks at the most? But when I got them they immediately darted to hiding spots and burrowing away. It was clear to me then that I needed to heavily plant plant my tank and I did some more research on encouraging them to come out and not be shy. I boiled some oak leaves and put those in the tank and I added even more gravel and slats of stone and Little Rock’s and hiding spots for them to travel the tank. And with no luck!!!! I still never saw them! I thought maybe they were dead but I read some stories about loaches going missing for months! So I decided to cut up a bottle and put it in the substrate and surround it by gravel up against the glass, and to my surprise they took to it 4 days after I put it in! So two weeks after my purchase (roughly) I’m finally reviewing these 5 Lil doods. I purchased 5 more to help encourage them to be brave lil doods, I’m very happy and the 2 that I’ve had a good look at are very vibrant. I can’t wait to keep sneaking up on them and taking pictures! (The has many ways for them to get out if they decide to actually go in it, in the pictures they’re actually between the bottle and the glass. They are not being crushed btw My second purchase was not as great, the shipping was slower. The heat pack was small and was no longer warm. Only 3 of the 5 made it alive. They are a lot bigger than the last ones i ordered though It’s later on tonight and I went to toss the packaging, the heat pack that was once cold has warmed up. I’m assuming the packaging was so good and tight that the breathable side of the heat pack was not exposed to oxygen? The seller finally got back in contact after my emails were failing to reach them for two or three days, but they are making it right and sending two new fishies :) I received the two replacement kuhlis dead... again in ice cold water. The seller is killing these fish by being ignorant about the weather taking 3 stars off. Read more
I bought 2 of the branded loach, to replace the others that I had bought from this same dealer. I'm sorry to report all of them are now dead. They arrived yesterday looking ok. I had even placed them in a seperate quarantine tank away from my other fish. But today they were dead. What's worse is all of the fish that I bought from them are now dead as well with No Way for me to be compensate for the money I lost, not just on this purchase, but the one before this as well. I feel as though i was taken advantage of and just been ripped off. Read more

This was our first time ordering fish online. My wife and I have been searching for loaches to add to our tank but had no luck with any pet store store in our area. We ordered 4 loaches and they arrived 2 days later alive and in good health. They were insulated well with a heat pack to keep the water as warm as possible for the loaches and our loaches were package well. The water in box was cold when it arrived to our house but that was more to do with the travel and weather. We have enjoyed watching our loaches get acclemated to the tank and being a part of the tank family. We can't to see how they grow. Very satisfied with the purchase and we will buy again from Quinn's Finns. Read more
My fish did not come with a heating pack 😡My husband wasn’t aware of taking pictures or a video. I wasn’t home for the unboxing wish I was though due to the fact that my husband said they arrived belly up and twitch a bit then belly up again. I got home not long after, probably 20min after and one of the kuhli died. pretty bummed! My pleco was barley making it but we are now 6 hrs into him being in his new home and adjusting very well. finally! my kuhli is still alive he isn’t moving much though. Could he be sick? I read from other reviews that once the kuhli fish died in there tank the healthy ones will as well. I’m worried that if this one dies also in the tank it will kill my healthy fish. Read more
