I got rid of my old aluminum one and replaced it with this partly because aluminum can cause Alzheimer’s, so I have heard. This product is stainless steel, quite thick except the lid, so it really doesn’t feel cheap. The design is different than the aluminum ones, so the coffee doesn’t have any grinds and tastes smooth but seems to me less strong as from aluminum ones. Awesome little moka pot. I love that it's stainless steel since aluminum is not good for us when used with foods. This doesn't make an espresso like professional machine, it's more like a very strong coffee. Makes about 10 oz, enough for 2 people. I do notice than when I use it on induction, a small amount of water always stays in the pot. Doesn't happen on a conventional stove. Seems well made, tho the handle and lid seem a little delicate so I am extra careful with it. Easy to clean. Read more

My glass measuring cup clearly shows 250 ML per 1 Fluid Cup. This two cup espresso maker will hold exactly 250 ML and this amount is over filling the reservoir. I absolutely love the build quality of this stainless steel moka pot. My previous aluminum one had a handle that broke very easily, and I always felt like the coffee reacted with the metal. This one is a completely different experience. It’s easy to clean, easy to wash (a simple water rinse does the job), nothing leaks, and the coffee tastes fantastic. I’m a big coffee lover and enjoy experimenting with different beans and brews, and this moka pot has been a joy to use. It still looks brand new even after many uses. There’s no metallic reaction with the coffee like I had with aluminum, and the handle is still solid and sturdy. It truly feels like it will last much longer than my previous one.
