Okay, I love this little trashcan! The entire thing is sturdy and feels quality. I love the function of the inner plastic that comes in and out easily, and could be washed as well, and the exterior attractive wicker. The lid sits on top loosely, doesn't really latch or snap into place. The lid ring is sturdy and holds itself up. It has a black plastic bin on the inside which is good quality as well and durable. I wanted a wicker wastebasket for the bathroom and I chose this one because it had a lid. It’s just the size I was looking for and it’s very pretty and looks to be well made. The only negative is that the black removable part( can’t remember what you call it) has a bit of a chemical smell to it, but I keep the lid on the wastebasket at all times.
