I am an avid reader. My chiropractor suggested my head posture was causing problems and asked if I read a lot. His wife, who runs the practice, said she had the same issue and bought a stand for her books. I searched a bunch of stands and ultimately chose this one. It's better than I thought it would be! It adjusts to the perfect height, it's really sturdy and steady, it has a small enough footprint I can tuck it behind my living room chair when I want it out of the way, and it comes with an extra little tray you can adjust that holds my huge mug of tea and phone and is SO secure and sturdy, also adjustable! I got this for bed side table. The product has decent quality, easy to assemble, but I tried to lock the height with the knob, didn’t lock it securely first time. But you just need to rotate to lock it as hard as you can. Read more

Its cool at first but it doesn't take long before you can no longer unscrew the parts of the table that change it from being sitting to standing. The parts that are supposed to unscrew get stuck and when you try to unscrew it, its actually weakening the adhesive from the part of the screw that is supposed to remain in base or poll. Once that happens it never works right again. My table can no longer to adjusted to make it stand and its now a struggle to removed just the table part. I wouldn't recommend. Read more
