This set worked well overall, but the price was slightly higher than I expected for the quality—around $60. The mixer cord length is great, and it’s super easy to pop the attachments on and off. I really liked having multiple speeds, and it’s much lighter and easier to handle than a traditional stand mixer. The immersion blender performed well, but there’s still some room for improvement. This mixer does a great job for being so small and lightweight! I really like the way the attachments can easily be removed and switched out, depending on what you need to mix. Even though the mixer attachments are fairly small I had no trouble mixing up cake batter very quickly and easily! The biggest issue I had using the mixer was trying to figure out how to turn it on! I had to read the instruction booklet to figure it out, as adjusting the power level and turning it off and on are different than any other mixer I have used. I love that it can be used as an immersion blender and a regular handheld mixer, and that it comes with the mixing bowl and lid for the immersion blender attachment. It has enough power to mix and blend batters and smoothies alike, and it's easy to clean and store, as it compact design doesn't take up much space. You get a lot of bang for your buck, as it's a good value and works great. It feels sturdy and will hopefully last a long time. If there was anything I would change about the blender, I would make it a little more quiet, as you definitely know it is on, but it's not loud enough that I wouldn't order it again. I recently had an old electric mixer fail on me after it think 20 years. it was faithful and always there when I needed it. I really upgraded to this 2 in 1 blender and mixer so now I have everything on handle and uses half the storage space. Very convenient and powerful as it is a plug-in device and while battery operated are great. Am item of this type is not used all that much and if battery operated it would not survive sitting for long periods of time. I am expecting lots of service out of this unit due to the heavy-duty motor and the strength of the parts. I have used the mixer to make a cake, and it did a great job mixing the ingredients. Cake came out perfectly mixed and moist. I have not tried the blender attachment for any edible yet, but I did put in the included measuring cup with half-filled water, and it really did its job great. The water was very agitated. And splashed all over the countertop. I got in trouble for that one, still I cleaned up my mess. Very versatile with the 2 attachments, and the powerful motor. Well worth the price and it is a very good investment that your children will be able to use too as they begin to bake and make other things. Read more
