I’m so irritated I could spit The clear plastic top attached to the ice cream bowl is supposed to separate. On this unit they will not. This renders it unusable. Waste of my time. It fits nicely and is everything I would like it to be, including the size. This makes enough for about 2 servings, and is especially nice if someone in the house is on a restrictive diet. This snow cone and ice cream maker is so fun and easy to use, and my grandchildren love it. I have a larger ice cream maker, and it makes over 2 quarts, but is more than I want on practical terms. What is great about this ice cream maker for my 35-year-old kitchen aid, (these things never break) now can make me as small as a pint. Perfect for 2 servings which is all I really want, and I don't have to store the extra. Plus, the smaller ice cream pot doesn't take up all my freezer space. Just leave it in the freezer all the time for a ready to go ice cream craving. The shaved ice is a nice feature and is more for my granddaughters since it is fun to make their own fun colors and flavors. The ice molds create the perfect size for getting the correct amount of shaved ice serving sizes. This works pretty smoothly, and quality isn't bad. Not to the level of true kitchen aid parts but for a fraction of the cost it is well worth it and I recommend for enjoying cold treats all summer. Read more
