Then I took the adapter on a trip and I rolled it to fit in a circular headphone case. Since then, it stopped working properly. Now, trying different headphones, the sound sometimes works and sometimes stops. There's static. And now, the sound moves up and down and podcasts keep restarting on their own. If you like to use wired headphones this is a good adapter and works fine, but sound is definitely diminished and if you are in any area with bad or sketchy reception I think you will have a hard time with clarity. They work fine for my purpose, which is sitting in my office. so I can be wirelessly connected to my desktop and still able to answer calls privately with the wired ear buds. The other piece is so you can charge your phone even with the ear buds plugged in and that seems to work just fine, maybe a little slower than if you just plugged directly into the phone but not a huge difference. I will say this, the quality control from the manufacturer is spot on. Plugging in my headphones and Anker USB-C cables requires a bit of effort as the plugs on this device are rather tight and not sloppy like some adapters have been with me before.
