This kit lets you see inside your ear in HD, which is equal parts impressive and emotionally humbling. I’m giving it 5 stars because it works great and the quality is better than I expected. The camera feed is clear, the app setup was straightforward, and the whole thing feels more solid than those flimsy gadgets that look like they’d snap if you breathe too hard. The waterproof rating is also reassuring because anything that lives near sinks and bathrooms needs a fighting chance. The ear wax removal side is the main character here. Being able to actually see what you’re doing is a huge upgrade from the classic method of “poke carefully and hope for the best.” The rounded tip design helps it feel less scary, and the smart features like the alerts add some peace of mind while you’re navigating the world’s tiniest tunnel. The nose hair trimmer attachment is a nice bonus. It’s compact, feels controlled, and doesn’t do that annoying tugging thing some trimmers do. Also, I appreciate the anti pinch idea because no one wants their grooming routine to become a jump scare. A friendly reality check: this is not a toy, even if it feels like one. Go slow, be careful, and treat your ears like they’re expensive. Because they are. TLDR: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars. Clear camera, better quality than expected, and turns ear cleaning into a weirdly high tech adventure. Read more

I got this to be able see inside the nose and ears maybe more so then for cleaning and trimming. My son and mother both tend to get wax in their ears and we go to the doctor to get them cleaned. It is hard sometimes to know is it wax or something else when it comes to my mom who has dementia. I wanted this tool to check to get an idea of what is going on. I was not sure I was confident enough to clean the ear but I liked being able to have a better idea what is going on where I can't see. I opened the package and was surpised. It just had the camera, some tips, and charging cables. Since this is a device goes into the ears, I want it to stay very clean. Before I considered using it I had to buy a case to store it in that would be sterile and easy to clean. After get a case, I deicded to use this on my spouse for a test run. I wanted to see how the app worked and how clear the picture was. I also wanted to see the process before trying it on my mom or my son. The app took a few minutes to get installed. The camera quality was above what I expected. I thought it would be grainy at this price point but it was quite clear. I could clearly see in my husband's ear. He said it did not hurt, it actually kind of tickled a bit. I was glad to have this test run. About 3 weeks after getting this camera, I needed to use it. My mom was complaining that she thought her ear was blocked. Since it takes alot to get her out of the house with her mobility issues, I was glad to have this device to check her ears. I had not turned on or charged the unit since I tried it out on my husband and the battery was still charged fine 3 weeks later. I was able to get a picture of inside my mom's ears and let the home health decide if she needed to go in. This camera was very effective in helping us determine what treatment was needed for my mom. I can see this being useful for our whole family. The camera length seems to work fine for mutiple ages. While I'm not sure I feel okay with doing the nose trimming or ear wax removal, I like that this unit gives me an idea of what is going on where I can't see. For the cost of $27 , one use might save you more then what it would cost to get a professional to check your ears or nose. The only thing I would change is having some sort of case included because this is a device that needs to be kept clean and sterile. Read more

This review is for "2-in-1 Visual Ear Wax Removal & Nose Hair Trimmer, 1296P HD Ear Cleaner with AI Eardrum Alert, Smart Anti-Pinch, 360° Rounded Blades, IP67 Waterproof, APP Visual Camera for Men, Women & Family Use". I got this device with the intention of using the camera to check ears, not necessarily to scoop anything out but more to look if there was "something" in there that warranted immediate attention. The app is necessary to use the camera and is available in my device's app store. It was easy and straightforward to download the needed app, connect the device, and to use the camera. The camera/trimmer device was not as straightforward to use. Since the camera end must be turned on for the trimmer to be turned on, multiple times I turned on the trimmer by accident while trying to use the camera, which caused me to jerk the device out of surprise. The power button for the trimmer really should be in a different place, or be a switch or something harder to activate. The device also got very hot after just a few minutes of use, and I was uncomfortable at a few points while trying to work the camera. The scoop part of the ear cleaner is hard metal under the thin silicone tip, and at times it was painful as I was trying to figure out the camera angles. I felt the heat from the device long before seeing any kind of eardrum alert and never got any kind of alert. The kit comes with several extra tips, so cleaning is fairly easy you just switch out the tip. When I tried the trimmer, it did not trim at all. I thought it wasn't functioning because the parts weren't installed and double checked, but it comes with the trimmer installed and an extra one for later. I could not get the trimmer to work at any angle. It turned on and the parts moved as they should, but it would not catch or cut any hairs even when tried on hair of various thickness, length, and angles. The video quality is fairly good and it was easy to identify what the camera aimed at. However, at the current price of $27.99, this did not seem like a good value for money as half of the device didn't do what it should. I am taking off a star for the trimmer not working, and another star off because the ear cleaning end was painful/hot. Read more
