2-Pack 1 5 Stretch Ratchet Belt for Men Trim to Fit

I got this because my current (and more expensive) ratcheting leather belt is starting to show some wear and not sure how much longer it's going to last. At first glance, these two pack is straightforward and simple enough. A no-frills nylon belt with a similarly simple buckle to match. I bought the size 41 option (measured 37" waist and range states 35-38") and, let me tell you, it's QUITE long. Being 1' under the recommended range, the excess went clear around to the left side of my hip. Of course, it can be trimmed, but I feel like I always have issues with fraying when I do that with such things, so I've not tried with these (yet). Now, these are pretty effective and functional, to be sure. It can take a little extra effort to get it threaded through the belt loops, especially the stretchy belt "clip" that holds the excess, and the belt into the buckle itself, but once it's in place, those buckle teeth aren't letting it go anywhere. Both the belt and the buckle feel like they're made of pretty solid materials, but time will tell. On the downside, the ratchet latch isn't really the easiest thing to get a hold of and let the belt back out again. Also, the belt threads on the INSIDE of itself instead of the outside, which can make threading it through and tightening it a little bit of an interesting exercise, particularly if you have a couple extra pounds. On the other hand, there's no excess belt flapping around you need to worry about so a few extra seconds of setup save the annoyance throughout the day. Overall, what you're getting for $10 is a pretty solid value here, especially if it holds up over time. I'm not personally going to wear these to work everyday, but they do make for really good travel or emergency belts to keep in the duffel bag if you need to. I will update down the road if I run into premature quality issues, but this is an easy 5 star for my at the price point and apparent quality level. Read more

I would’ve given more stars because I like the belt, but the buckle is wrong. They want to hide the tail of the belt behind the buckle, which makes it hard to pull the belt tight. You would have to buy and receive them to understand what I’m saying, it simply wasn’t a good idea to try to hide the tale. Read more

I’ve been using these with some jeans I have and don’t wear often because they’re too loose. These belts fix that, they’re easy to adjust, the ratchet system makes it easy to get a precise fit without dealing with traditional belt holes and they have good slip resistance at a reasonable price. I hate most belts made for women. I was looking for something plain and durable for everyday wear. This belt checked all the boxes. The belt is attractive, sleek, and comfortable. The ratchet mechanism with button release is easy to use. I love that you can trim the nylon if need be for a custom length. I honestly can’t believe you get two quality belts for less than ten bucks ($9.99 at the time of this review), totally worth every penny. My review scale explained: ⭐ Don't do it. A good belt to use in everyday life. I bought the belt because it is stretchable, and the nice solid buckle looks good enough to bring to work and no one have a problem with it. The belt is long enough that you have plenty of room to adjust to any size, and I am happy I no longer have to fiddle a pin buckles. One real good thing I particularly like is that the tail end goes on the inside of the belt, so you don't get the tail end flapping about on the outside. It really helps that I ain't bothered by that little extra bit of belt when I sit down for long periods of time. It feels good, never had a problem with it bothering me, and its easily adjustable to put on and take off if you need to. I use it when I was at work and never had a problem, used it during yard work with no problem, and I found it held on pretty firmly.
