But first, a valuable life lesson: Don’t put the chain on backwards. Ask me how I know. Once I fixed that little mistake, the chainsaw absolutely came alive. Chain is good and it fits. Still need to test out how it cuts on branches to trim my trees. Hope it can stand up to mesquite tree branches. It is considered a hardwood. For y'all in the Midwest and Eastern states. Mesquite is a common name for some plants in the genera Neltuma and Strombocarpa, which contain over 50 species of spiny, deep-rooted leguminous shrubs and small trees, native to dry areas in the Americas. They have edible pods, deep roots, and can be invasive in some regions. Just a little fyi. Only problem is the handles are not made for the files. The holes are much to big and do not hold the files in place. They just fall out of the handle. So they are pretty much useless and will have to try finding handles that fit the files. Read more
