I'm rather alarmed that it filters so fast so quietly. That's a bad sign but extra convenient that I shouldn't complain about. The water tastes really great afterward. I've bought more. The real reason anybody buys this is to compare with PUR filter for health reasons and that's impossible to do without an independent laboratory assessment. I'm assuming it's filtering is half as good as PUR but it's a total guess. Since I can't afford PUR at all, I'd have to do without, this is a great alternative. For comparison, PUR brand filters very slowly and generates a fairly loud hum you can hear across the room. Read more
