For what these are, I think they are great! They arrived so tiny I felt dismayed but they unpacked to a good size and refolding into the tiny zip was easier than I thought. I stuffed with random stuff and sat on an average carry on and it worked well. My idea isn't to use these as heavy travel but to throw in suitcases for when I buy too much or if doing a weekend away. So we were in Greece recently and had to fly to Santorini island since time was short. We flew Sky Express and they allow one personal item that fits underneath of the seat for free. I was going to take a more substantial backpack, but since it was only for one night and we weren't going to be lugging these around on our backs (they were kept in the rental car), I thought these might work. So on going to Santorini, they were filled with one set of street clothes, night clothes, extra underwear, toiletries and camera gear in mine and assorted stuff in my wife's. The duffel bags were only about half full. It was nice to get on a plane with such a lightweight kit. Coming back from Santorini, we had done some shopping and we also had our puffer jackets (that were not needed since it was warm on the island). We stuffed everything into our little duffel bags along with our puffer jackets, and it was slightly tight closing the zipper (see picture of the filled bags). But everything fit in just fine and we were not hassled at all by the airlines. The bags are not of the highest quality and are not super durable. I can see the stitching start to give out if stretched too much, but for light use, they are just fine. It did rain on the first day in Santorini and the bags got slightly rained on as we walked from the airplane to the waiting shuttle bus, but nothing inside got wet. After our little trip to Santorini, I folded the bags back in on themselves. They were perfect for their intended purpose. I'll be carrying these duffel bags on future trips since they are so convenient and they weigh very little. You can always find a use for bags like these when traveling - if nothing else for carrying dirty clothes or making one into a day-bag for side-trips and adventures. You can also use them if your checked luggage is full and you need extra space to lug all of the crap you bought on your vacation. Read more
