I am an extremely picky person. I have zero tolerance for things that do not work as described and I will 100% let a company know if their product has failed me. I have very hard water where I live and I've had this dark ring right at the water line in my toilet for months and months. I scrubbed like crazy with comet / ajax, acid cleaners, you name it the, I could never get rid of that dark build up / stain. I bought this since I have tried everything else. The pumice stones work very well on any surface you can physically reach. They remove buildup and stains quickly and leave the bowl noticeably cleaner. The problem is the size and shape — if you have mineral or hard-water buildup deep in the lower part of the toilet where the water funnels down, the pumice stone simply won’t fit into that narrow area. For flat surfaces and the upper bowl, these stones are excellent and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. For buildup hiding in the lower channel, they’re not able to reach it, so you may still need a different tool for that specific spot. Read more
