I got these for my Granddaughter so when she comes over she has them to play with. I put them out when she came over along with her other toys, she's 2 years old, and she went to them first. She really liked them and took both in her hands and started turning them and shaking them. Very nice size and easy for little hands to hold. When the little beads fall inside, they have a nice gentle noise, not real real loud like I thought they would. Very durable, because she was throwing them around too, so I know they are made real well. Great for anyone, I even sat for a while turning them, getting the balls to fall, nice an relaxing. This is a rainstick for kids, so it's good to lower your expectations a little bit. The sounds are short, and this isn't like a professional, artisan made rainstick that a shaman would use at a sound bath. It's almost more like a long shaker egg or rattle than it is a rainstick because of how short the "rain" sound is, but our son still likes using it when we're doing a "family band", and he doesn't really know that the rain should work longer. We've had it for months, and it's still in good shape, so that works for us! Read more
