Seamless charging packs for Xbox Series controllers. This will convert your controllers into rechargable ones that can be powered by USB-C. I used to have a charger where the controllers would sit in a dock and I didnt like that. This allows you to play and charge at the same time. It works like a typical rechargable controller now. Small but necessary product that will enhance and prolong game sessions. Read more
As standard capacity rechargeable packs these represents a definite improvement over non-rechargeable land-fill fodder. I confirmed these are ready to plug&play in Xbox Series X/S consoles and work without issue. I was also interested in whether there was any way I could make them work in my Xbone controllers since both models are electrically similar. Turned out these packs made that a challenge, worthy or not. I did it but not elegantly and won't go into it here since it may have broken laws. Similar battery packs with nearly double the capacity and compatibility with Xbox One controllers can be gotten for just a dollar or so more. For that reason, despite having no problem with their actual function, I'm not rating these packs highly. Read more
The fitment is impressively flush, with no ergonomic changes and only slightly more weight. The battery doesn’t "click" in but is designed to slide in and out with some force, which turned out to be a good design choice. Visually, it looks great, and fully charged, it has lasted over 12 hours of playtime—solid performance considering full vibration enabled. With vibration off you might get that claimed 20 hours of battery life. Only oddity is windows will not show true battery life; always showing 100%. If this last for a few years these are excellent value for the money for a battery that doesn't require a charging dock or additional battery cover. Time will tell after 100 + charges to see how battery capacity holds up and will update review if they have issues within first year. Read more

Just looking at them, these seem like a great XBox controller battery solution. They are packed well and they arrived in what looks like perfect condition. They seem to be well made, with sturdy plastic and a good USB C connector. Charging is easy, just plug them in - a PD power supply worked fine - and wait for the light to turn green. The problems started when I went to install the battery in the controller. It didn't really want to click into place and I had to fight to get it connected. I finally got it snapped in any everything seemed to be working. Then the controller powered off in the middle of play. It powered right back on when I pushed the XBox button, but that's still frustrating. I suspect the battery doesn't quite fit properly and is making a marginal connection. If you get too enthusiastic during play the battery loses contact just long enough to power the controller off. I tried three different controllers and had similar results with each. I didn't see what specifically is causing the fit issue. It could be that a quick pass with a knife along one edge would solve both problems by removing a little bit of excess plastic left over from molding the parts. It could be something more basic. If not for the fit and power loss issue these could easily be a 5 star solution. I had been using lithium ion battery packs that fit into the battery compartment and have a charging stand, but that's inconvenient and at this point 3 of my 4 batteries have failed, so I was hoping for a better solution. But, as it stands, unless I figure out what's going on with the fit and dropping power, these will be the batteries I use for the controllers I give to people I don't like. Read more
