Installation took me about 10–15 minutes. The process itself is very simple—no complicated steps at all. The only slightly tricky part is that you do need to climb up to install it, but that has nothing to do with the product itself. The build quality is solid and sturdy, and everything needed for installation is included. It would be even better if the package came with wood screws for mounting directly into a stud, but that wasn’t a big issue for me. I just used my own screws and was able to DIY it without any problem. The LED brightness is excellent—very bright and effective. I really like that it comes with a remote control, which lets me turn it on and off, adjust brightness from 25% to 100%, and set a timer from 2 hours up to 8 hours.
